Vital Thin Film Materials Secures Series A Round Financing

Vital Thin Film Materials Co. Limited (VTFM - subsidiary of Vital Group) successfully secured Series A financing, announced during a strategic investment conference held at Ritz Carlton Guangzhou on January 6, 2022. This round of capital investment was led by Private Equity firm of CICC Capital, electric car maker BYD Co., Sinopec Group Capital Corporation, TBEA Group, and other firms. Through this round of investment, VTFM established a strategic cooperative relationship of sustainable development with these enterprises.

VTFM will continue to improve its product matrix, to invest in R & D on products supporting applications including semiconductor display, heterojunction and thin-film solar, and solid-state fuel cells, while further expanding market scale/scope for existing products.

Speakers from leading organizations including Department of Industry and Information Technology, CICC Capital, BYD Investment Office, Sinopec Capital, Vital Group, and Boston Consulting Group addressed the conference. The speakers shared their enterprise experience as well as cutting-edge industry information on technology.

George Zhu, chairman of Vital Group, gave a keynote speech on "gathering potential to generate wisdom and lead the future", introducing the business structure, industrial layout, terminal application and development blueprint of Vital. Vital Group has a solid business foundation and is now entering a comprehensive acceleration period. In the future, VTFM will pursue opportunities, based on its first mover advantages in heterojunction and perovskite solar cells technology, continue to develop new products, continue to expand on its leading advantages in display and new energy photovoltaic industry materials, strengthen industrial chain capabilities, deepen capital strength, while building a world leading technology brand.
